Carpenters' and Cook.

Practical ended early so we decided to head to a cafe named Carpenter and Cook which is located near beauty world plaza at Upper Bukit Yimah. 

The interior of the cafe was really pretty with numerous vintage items ranging from typewriters to weighing scales. To me, its a bakery cum vintage furniture shop. Each and every piece of the furniture is individually handpicked by the pretty owners of the cafe, Phoebe, Shenn & Eunice!

"A year ago, whilst in London, Phoebe and Shenn started collecting vintage furniture out of interest. They decided that it was so much fun that they wanted to make it into something bigger. And how nice would it be to fill a whole shop with these lovely vintage pieces and feed people with the delicious cakes and bakes that Shenn would make. So they asked their friend Eunice who liked to make things look pretty if she wanted to join in the fun to make the dream a reality and as they say, the rest is history."

Daydreaming.

I've been doing a lot of day dreaming these few days now that you are not around.
I miss you so much. :( 3 days will be over pretty quick right?
These few days without you made me realized that we do cherish each other a lot.
They say "absence makes the heart fonder". That's very very true.
I've never missed you so much before do you know that?
But, knowing that you are over there at Taiwan having fun and looking at all the pictures that you sent me, i feel happy for you too. Sometimes, i felt as if i was the one touring Taiwan. Heh.

So.... What have i been daydreaming about?I imagined us having a house by the lake and in a bustling city. We could hear the city sounds and subways from our windows. We will have white curtains and white sheets for the bed. There's a little kitchen for us to bake together. We would spend out time being quiet in bed just cuddling or we would watch movies and my favourite cartoons. We could just live the day away. We would take silly shots together. Memories would be created and every single day would be an adventure for us. Come back safely baby. ♥

What do you hope to achieve?

I admit I'm a hopeless romantic. I still remember the first few conversations and texts that we had. How we used to be so carefree and you used to smile till your eyes were just a thin line to me. How I miss those days. But now, I don't get it. It seems like you are always tired whenever you are with me. I don't understand how you could sleep at least 14-15 hours a day and yet you are still tired when you are with me. But just then, a phone call came. That happy look on your face, the way your lights beamed and you told me you gotta go. Just a phone call from your friend could make you so happy. Why couldn't I? What was I lacking that made you dull? I tried to make you smile you know...

And i today i asked you, "What do you hope to achieve by living everyday the way you are doing it now?". What frightens me is that you gave me that uncertain look and you said you don't know. Come to think of it, its quite scary when you imagine yourself not getting good grades, not getting a good job and not having enough money to get yourself by. That thought really scares me. I don't want to live my life just watching the time ticking away, sleeping away the days, or playing games which is what you did. I want to do something meaningful each day. It could be something as simple as organizing my wardrobe or anything which is productive. I've wasted 3 months of my life by just watching each day pass me by. This has got to stop. Its time to find a job, to earn something. (:

Spiderwebs and dust are going away.

Finally revamped my blog after a year. Seems like this blog is pretty much dead already. Well, I'm here to revive it! But there will be many changes to this blog though. The URL is different from the past so i presume no one i know would be reading these posts. Guess this will be my new diary. (:

Had a whole load of thoughts on my mind but just when i finally finished with the templates and all, i forgot what i wanted to blog about. HAHAHA.

P.S. I am pretty much a greenhorn when it comes to htmls and trying to upload a picture onto blogger. Spent a whole of 30 minutes just to get that pretty picture as my banner.
